Frequently Asked Questions:
What Insurances are accepted?
We accept most major insurances including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare, Tufts (Commercial and Public Plans), Neighborhood Health, Network Health, Mass General Brigham, Aetna and United Health Care. If you do not see your insurance listed, we are happy to accept private pay patients.
Do I need a referral?
The need for a referral varies amongst patients and insurance companies. It is the primary responsibility of the patient to understand the requirements of their insurance company; the best way to do this is to call the member services phone number on the back of your insurance card.
What is a deductible?
Deductibles are common in most insurance policies. A deductible is an out of pocket expense that incurs with treatments. For example, with a $2,000 deductible, you pay the first $2,000 of covered services yourself. After you pay your deductible, you usually pay only a copayment or coinsurance for covered services. Please contact your insurance company for any additional information
What should I expect at my first visit?
For your fist visit, please arrive in easy to adjust clothing, with your health insurance card, and any information/prescriptions/referrals from your referring provider. You will fill out some paperwork in the office and then meet with Kelly, the Physical Therapist. She will then work with you to go over your injury and set up a treatment plan.
How long will I need to go?
This varies from person to person and injury to injury. Kelly will be able to work with you and your referring providers to set up a treatment schedule customized to each individual.
